In this episode, we are going to visit the most professional breeding farm of African Cichlids in Taiwan. Yuan Shan Ornamental Fish Farm is a cichlid breeding farm, located in Yanpu Township, Pingtung. It mainly produces African Cichlid and partial Taiwanese local Gobiidae; over 100 kinds are kept on the farm. Unique and high-priced African Cichlid is its main product. The farm owner does not take mass production as the main purpose, but takes diversity in small quantities as a way to maintain its advantages such as high quality and competitiveness; he also adopts a natural ecological breeding method to reduce the use of drugs and completely avoid using hormone feed, thereby decreasing the impact on the natural environment.
