This time we come to a stream located in southeastern Taiwan. Although most of the streams in the east are steep, the location of our wild collection is at the middle and lower reaches of the stream. The terrain is relatively flat, which is very suitable for wild collection and photography. In this episode, you can clearly see that Newt Jhuang applies “kicking method” to collect fish and shrimp; here we collect many native Taiwanese Gobius and various types of native freshwater shrimp.
